1. GEEZER Shut Up Remixes ( D.A.V.E. The Drummer mix) (SMITTEN IS DEAD)
Not so obvious at first but when you play this minimal but hard mix out from the Drummer man it strikes like a Wayne Roony volley.
2. STEPHANE SIGNORE Another Life (Oliver Giacomotto remix) (PLANET RHYTHM)
Glen Wilsons Planet Rhythm is going through a bit of a re vamp as heard with this clubbed up banger from my favourite funk smith Oliver Giacomotto.
3. DYNAMO CITY Bomb In Your Ass (STAY UP FOREVER)
This is going to be huge for us as I have been seriously harassed for this tune ever since a preview was up on the web. Chris and D.A.V.E. really know how to get the 303 to sing and with the added Densil Washington sample this is an instant classic.
4. ANT AND CHRIS LIBERATOR - Fuckin Freak (SUPERCONDUCTOR)
The style you here on this track wont appeal to all the Acid Techno die- hards but I love the originality of having one big 12oz T-Bone sized synth bass line/ riff driving the whole track which is a formula the lads have been using a lot of recently.
5. MARKANTONIO Rilis Remix Vol 1 (?)
This is the one with the steel drum riff that was a big hit through the summer and now gets the remix treatment. Check the cool Advent mix.
6. MARCO LENZI & ANDERSON NOISE Move It (PRIMATE)
I have been a big fan of both these artist for years and I think they have the percussive big build style done perfectly for some hands in the air treatment
7. OLIVER GIACOMOTTO Panic (APE)
He may not be considered as unique as his partner Dj Preach but boy can this guy make supercool funky Techno. Records like this are great for my set as they fit in anywhere and always get a reaction.
8. JULIAN LIBERATOR AND D.A.V.E. THE DRUMMER Freak Style E.P. (4X4)
Julian steps up once again with a genre breaking release alongside D.A.V.E. Four tracks of freaky beats. Check the mad as f**k breakbeat Moog Rocker . As always for me the best 4x4s are the ones Julian and D.A.V.E. do and deserve more recognition for their originality
9. QUARTZ MEETS HUMAN TECH Imput 3 (RE-ACTIVE)
Re- Active has been one of the few English Techno labels left after the demise of Prime Distribution and thankfully they always put out some heavy looped up e.p.s like this one.
10. KAY D SMITH Untitled (CLUSTER)
Kay D Smith on Cluster who would of thought better still he has moulded his sound perfectly for the label, check the a for some mad hoover action!
