Can it possibly be the 14th edition of Bonkers? The ultimate hardcore compilation is back for yet more intergalactic mayhem. The 4 CD combo is in the same format as the last one with Hixxy, Sharkey, Scott Brown and Dougal on mixing duty and quite frankly what better people to do it than DJs who have been there since the beginning! Hixxy is on the case with an upfront mix and sews together a vocally infused mix of tracks including 'Memories' by Scott Brown, 'Believe' by Frisky & Hujib and 'Power & The Glory' by GEOS. Dougal ties together euphoric, hands in the air party tunes with 'Need Your Emotion' by Jon Doe & Billy Bunter being a definitive crescendo and reveals his darker side with some more sinister demons like 'Make Noise' by Dougal & Gammer and 'Ready For War' by Gammer. Sharkey offers the beast of the bunch showcasing the driving energy of the freeform sound with up and coming artists like Ephexis, Stormtrooper, K Complex and AMS and contributions from more established producers like Kevin Energy and Jon Doe. Scott Brown's CD showcases his unmistakable production with tracks like 'Make You Freak, 'Just Walk Away' and 'Rock You Softly 2005'. This is a good representation of the shapes and forms of the ever popular, underground genre that is hardcore. SW
