Broken Toy as far as I am concerned can do no wrong, they walk on hallowed ground. That in itself is going to cloud my objectivity, however if I am honest from the outset then you can form your own opinion on the back of that. This album is brilliant. What I love about them is there ability to create a dirge like soundscape and then maintain it! You always feel that you are on the edge of a great revelation with Broken Toy but they cut it short before the point at which all will reveal itself, leaving you in a constant state of wanting. That is what I love, the journey that never ends. This album does exactly that. Wall to wall soundscapes that build and build on each other constantly pushing you forward but never letting you fall.
