What you have here is 3 CD’s of the actual live displays given at Tidy Weekender 7, which was arguably the best to date. Maddox’s CD commences with myself on live vocal duty and works its way through 13 of Paul’s more recent offerings/re-workings. Check his bespoke live remix of Trauma’s ‘Higher’ for complete euphoria! The Tidy Boys enter a predictably filthy introduction for the ‘Dirty Weekender’ and work through joyous newbies such as the awesome new Euphony mix of Breather’s ‘Come On’ and Vinylgroover & The Red Hed’s ‘Don’t You Want Me’, alongside Weekender favourites such as the classic UK Gold Remix of ‘Gridlock 3000’s ‘Fantastic Thing’, concluding with the awesome ‘Attack Of The 50 Foot DJ’ from Upfront’s Sol Ray and Captain Tinrib. The Tidy Weekender is one huge, motherf*cking party and Rob Tissera is one motherf*cking awesome party DJ! Talk about feel good factor on one CD! Trance classics suchas ‘Madagsacar’ and ‘Sanctuary’ (given re-rubs by Rob/Technikal and Jon Langford respectively) are seamlessly chipped into a live euphoric rush throughout. It’s debatable whether Rob’s newbie with Vinylgroover & The Red Hed, ‘Beautiful Like You’, Jez & Charlie’s new collaboration with Ingo, ‘Silverscreen’, Kevin Energy and Sol Ray’s ‘Time & Space’ or the new Dave Holmes mix of Quake’s ‘The Day Will Come’ or any of the other 15 monsters on this disk alone! will become your favourite. This will act as superb souvenir of a superb weekend for those who were there; and a hard dance package with a live-feel difference for those that weren’t! Corking stuff! GRH
