Toolbox Music are always a bunch of busy bees, and typically this year the hive is a buzzin' with new releases left right and bloomin' centre. Are you sitting comfortably? Then I'll begin.
Set up in 2001 and re-launched in 2003, Toolbox continues to tighten the nuts of true hard house fans. About to celebrate their 25th release, Toolbox has welcomed into their fold such great names as Paul Glazby, The Test Tube Babies, Justin Bourne and DMF. In the last 2 years the label has expanded to incorporate a wider spectrum, including harder house sounding Hammerheads, tougher house grooves from Toolbox House, and Footloose label launching in Oct this year with house with an edge. The original moniker of Toolbox Records was replaced by Toolbox Music to represent the expansion, along with an online shop at www.toolboxmusic.co.uk where you can purchase MP3 downloads as well as good ol' vinyl. A new album will be along shortly, presenting a download only follow up to 'What's Your Pleasure Volume 1'. Release number 25 follows shortly, with the re-release of DJ Gonzalo & F1 'It's my Beat', with a new mix already included on the new 'I Love VC' album.
