A few years ago I was asked by a somewhat agitated drunk person to kick Cari Lekebusch off the decks at his own night at the Stockholm University. As Cari is one of my all time Techno heroes I was very embarrassed and thankfully he was very cool about it when the drunk demanded I play. Cari has been making top quality music for over ten years most notably on his own Hybrid label. This particular release sees an ever inventive Cari trying something different that will gain a lot of fans and critics alike. On all three tracks you have vocals from D.Chi in the Detroit ghetto style with lines like “ no fake booty” but instead of the usual hard stomping ghetto beats you have a unique, futuristic and original approach to the genre.
