After what seems like an eternity the CLSM monkeys are back on the release trail in the all-4-1 camp with 2 brilliant remixes of a hardcore classic from ‘99. 'Timebomb' (originally released by Jon Doe) is one of the bigger tunes of the last few years and these two mixes bring it bang up to date. The CLSM remix is a kickdrum orientated track maintaining many elements of the original but with the unmistakably modern CLSM sound. The Cube:hard remix on the flip is a breakbeat re-working that’s got a drifty, floaty intro before pounding into the tough breakbeat and leadline alongside the now famous vocal. A good contrast to the a-side. HB
